Gamja's Weekend

Gamja's weekend was awesome :)

He watched Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones with us.

He slept.

He slept more.

He slept deeper more :p

He woke up and had a cranky face.

He got his toenails trimmed.

He was being the CUTEST KITTY EVER!! 

He fell asleep again :p 

Simple Bibimbap

My hubby and I invited our parents(in-law) and had some Bibimbap party tonight.

Have you ever tried it?

Bibimbap that we ate was really simple.

Normally you will need namul (sautéed and seasoned vegetables) for Bibimbap 

but this time, we only used a bag of salad.

If you would like to make one, here is how to make it.

You will need: a bag of salad, cooked rice, a fried egg, pepper paste and sesame oil.

I bought this pepper paste and this is for Bibimbap.

I think you can use regular pepper paste which we call "Gochujang" in Korea.

1. Fry an egg.

2. Put the rice with vegetables.(The amounts is up to you.)

3. Put the fried egg on the top of the rice.

4. Add some pepper paste and a half spoon of sesame oil. 

(Make sure to start with small amount of pepper paste 

and add more of pepper paste as needed.) 

5. Mix them well and enjoy it!

Homemade Sweet Potato Chips

My parents(in-law) introduces us this awesome Chips Maker since we LOVE,

well, at least I LOVE POTATO CHIPS!!!!!

It was really fun to make but since we have one cooker, it took forever. 

Ok. Here is how to make.

1. Slice sweet potatoes.

I recommend you to wear the GLOVE if you want to keep your fingers!!

2. Place the sliced sweet potatoes on the cooker(maker).

3. Microwave them for 3 minutes and 30 seconds.

Since these are sweet potatoes, it takes 3 minutes and 30 seconds.

If you want to make potato chips, microwave them for 3 minutes. 

4. Please be careful when you carry this. They are hot!

5. Enjoy your sweet potato chips!

3 Years Ago Today

3 years ago today, I lost my biggest fan, my grandma.

I flew to Korea next day and stayed in Korea for 2 weeks.

I miss her a lot but am happy that she is in heaven where there is no pain.

One thing that kills me is that I didn't even get to say good bye to her.

I was mad at myself about that until I watched "Courageous"

There is a scene where Adam Mitchell said 

"Dear God, thank you for the nine years you gave me with Emily. 
I don’t know if it’s okay to ask this, 
but will You please tell her I did my part of the dance?” 

That hit me.

I had never thanked God for the 28 years He gave me with my grandma.

Since that moment, I tried to thank God whenever I miss my grandma.

My grandma would yell at me if she sees that I posted this picture of her on my blog
but I hope she's dancing and partying in heaven right now.

I was probably 3 or 4 and my grandma looks super young!

Since my both parents worked when I was growing up, my grandma raised me and my sister.

This was taken in 2006.

We loved to counting the coins when we killed our piggy banks.

This is taken at her funeral in 2009.

We put my grandma's ashes around this tree and call this tree "Grandma tree".

I love taking pictures of Gamja when he's sleeping :)

It's also easy to capture him. 

When he's awake and when I take pictures of him, sometimes he moves so fast :p

It's been a week since my hubby and I met our lovely Gamja.

I've been taking so many pictures of him and I feel like he lives in my cell phone!

I love this picture. He looks so cranky but awfully cute!

He likes to stare outside.

He was meowing this morning.

I'm still having a hard time whenever he meows.

I'm not sure if he is hungry, or he needs to go to potty or he wants to play with me.

I love when he falls asleep in my arms.

He loves my laptop and computer, especially the keyboards.

He likes sitting on the keyboard!

We watched Friends(Friends is my No.1 favorite TV show!) together last night.

When I got home today, Gamja was sleeping with my hubby.

Last night, I barely slept since Gamja was awake.

Since he took a nap with my hubby today, I'm not sure if he's gonna go to bed tonight!

He's fully charged and has been playing with his toys for 2 hours!!

I put Sally Hansen(Aflorable) for Valentine's Day.

Lots of people have given me compliments about my nails!

I gotta be honest with you.

I was washing my hair and looked at my fingers.

I almost screamed!! I thought I WAS BLEEDING!!

I went to doctor's office today.

I've had this itchy problems on my legs so I thought it would be easier for me

to wear long skirt than skinny jeans.

I got this cute skirt from thrift store and I LOVE IT!

 I'm about to do ddalki diary but I think Gamja wants me to play with him!

Instead of doing ddalki diary, I've decided to play with him :D
