Getting New Things Makes Me Happy!

Do you remember what my hubby did to my laptop back in April?

Yep. I finally got a new laptop :D 

YAY!!

 We went to IKEA and got some curtains :D

The windows in our bedroom are so pretty right now.

We also got a new blanket cover.

I love spending some time with my new laptop and my Blythe on my new blanket cover :D

Ok. It's time for us to go to bed now.

Snowy Day

We didn't get enough snow this winter. Booooo!

I love when it snows so I can stay home all day :)

We finally got some snow in the first week of March.

Surprise Christmas Present from a Friend in Korea

I got an unexpected Christmas present from a friend in Korea.

Her name is HaeRi. 

We've never met but we became friends through Flickr.

She has Blythe dolls and I have Blythe dolls too.

She also makes adorable Blythe doll outfits too :)

When I bought my first sewing machine, I emailed her to get some advice.

She was really kind and explained it to me very well :)

I made my first handmade Blythe dress last year.

To say thank you for helping me choosing the right sewing machine, 

I mailed my first Blythe dress to HaeRi.

This year, she surprised me.

I did not know that she was gonna mail me anything.

When I opened the box, I almost fainted!

Look at the box!!! Isn't it so adorable?

 She even wrote me a Christmas card that turns to snowman too :)

HaeRi made that hat!!

Maumee Antique Mall in OH

While Alex and I were visiting poppy, we got to go to Maumee Antique Mall.

On our way to Poppy's house, 

we stopped by at the rest area and Alex spotted a brochure about this place.

Personally, I thought it was really sweet of Alex 

who picked up the brochure to show me :) 

He knows what I like!

If you happen to go near Maumee and if you love thrift/antique stores, 

I strongly recommend you to check out this place.

Package from Lina

One of my blog friend, Lina asked me if I would like to exchange gift packages.

I had never done that before so I told her that I would love to do that :)

I sent her the first package last month.

She sent me her package and I got it yesterday :)

She wrote me a card.

I'm gonna have some these jelly beans for my sweet tooth tonight :)

Don't worry. I'm gonna floss, brush my teeth and use mouthwash before I go to bed.

She knows that I'm into kitties!!!

She also sent me this grow your own crystal tree kit for some scientific fun :)

She sent me some pills to place in some warm water too!!

I'm so so so excited!!

 She sent me star hair pins(I LOVE LOVE LOVE STARS!!).

When I first used this camera, I got confused and hold the wrong size

which means I took pictures of myself without knowing it!

(I also realized that I look so intense when I take pictures :p)

Dolphin Show was awesome!

Sometimes, I feel bad that they get trained in the aquarium instead of their home.

I hope they have a good time with trainers.

I have some 35mm cameras but don't use them very often 

since I have cell phone and DSLR.

You can see the pictures from your digital camera and easily delete them

if you don't like them.

I've decided to use more 35mm cameras more often so I can get used it them :)

My Old Habit

I mentioned that I used to take my Blythe doll with me.

Somehow I've stopped doing that.

Does it mean I'm getting old(er) and I'm getting lazier?
